There are 21 Reasons to see this film

BE BLIND, BE CLINGY, DEVELOP A SUBSTANCE ABUSE PROBLEM...

The Yellow Affair is proud to announce the acquisition of a new hilarious rom com called 21 WAYS TO RUIN A MARRIAGE. The film has blitzed the home box office in Finland, racking up a huge audience of 375,000 in the 12 weeks since its release. Word has gotten out: this is a genuinely funny romp about the most fundamental of human endeavors: love, sex, marriage and divorce.

The story centers on Sanna, a woman conducting an extensive research program on why people marry, and why they ultimately divorce. Sanna believes that love is a marriage spoiler. She does, however, like sex, preferably with strangers and under the influence of alcohol. Falling in love is folly. That is till Aleksi comes on the scene. If there are 21 ways to ruin a marriage, there are probably 21 ways to fall in love.

The film was written and directed by Johanna Vuokesnmaa and produced by Riina Hyytiä for Dionysos Films. It has been released in Finland by Nordisk Film and has recently been selected for the prestigious Shanghai International Film Festival 2013.

21 WAYS TO RUIN A MARRIAGE will have a market screening in Cannes AT OLYMPIA 3 on Saturday, May 18 at 4pm.

A CAUTIONARY TALE OF A MISGUIDED VIGILANTE

The Yellow Affair is proud to announce the acquisition of new suspense drama THE ARBITER. Set for the most part in the English countryside, and driven by central character John (brilliantly played by Lee Ingleby), it's a cautionary tale with far reaching topical implications that will be talked about by audiences long after the film is viewed.

He thinks he knows how to make the world a better place. When he is joined by his donor-child Ronja in England, they take a daddy-daughter trip through the countryside where John starts to put his theories into practice – ideas involving murder, elimination and cleansing – while innocent Ronja is manipulated into playing along.

THE ARBITER is written and directed by Kadri Kôusaar and produced by Aet Laigu for Meteoriit Film OÜ. It has an outstanding cast including Lee Ingleby (Master and Commander, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, A Running Jump, The Last Knights) and Lina Leandersson (Let The Right One In).
