HUSH, a beautifully shot, roller-coaster-ride movie poses the question of how far someone will go for love. And what happens when you cross the line.
Sakari is totally in love with the stunning Veera and proposes marriage. Delving into her past he turns up one day with Veera’s estranged father. This triggers off a series of psychotic events that leads to Veera posting the question: would you kill my father? Its unthinkable – but Sakari is losing control. And told a dubious story about Veera’s past he gets lured into her plan. Once he goes along for the ride there’s no turning back.
HUSH is the debut feature for new talent Jyri Kähönen and is produced by veteran producer Aleksi Bardy for Helsinki film Oy .
HUSH is set to have its market premiere at Cannes 2012. It will be screening at Gray 4 on May 21 at 1.30pm.
The Yellow Affair, representing the film for world sales, will be taking meetings at Cannes from May 16 - 24 and will be located at the Scandinavian Terrace (la Croisette 55 – between Noga Hilton and the Carlton).
