Synopsis:

Mateo is a veterinarian in a small town in Mexico. Since his son's death, his life has unfolded between silent routines and a guilt that has never been named. The violence of the place does not erupt: it stays latent, like a constant echo. That fragile balance is disturbed when Mateo must heal Morro, the wounded dog of a local crime boss. In the daily care of the animal, an unexpected bond emerges: a relationship without judgment or words, one that gives Mateo's life its meaning back.
